At year-end 2019, 378 people were employed with Catom. Catom’s strategy is focused on further growth, both organic and through acquisitions. Catom seeks to acquire market leadership in all segments it operates in. Catom B.V. has its corporate seat in Breda. Its principal place of business is at Verlengde Poolseweg 32 in Breda. All group companies are wholly owned by Catom. There were no changes in the ownership ratios in the past financial year. Catom B.V. and its group companies operate mainly in the Dutch market. Nearly 100% of turnover is realised in the Netherlands.

After the successful completion of the company-wide roll-out of the digitalization and automation of the procurement process workflow, a start was made in 2019 to digitalize the data- flow on the sales side of the fuel process. All deliveries are recorded by our drivers by means of a digital photograph and uploaded via an app to the ERP system, and invoices are generated from there. As all delivery notes are now in digital form, we have created a situation in which the percentage of digital invoicing can be further increased (presently 74%). This project is key to a substantial improvement of overall efficiency.
