21. General The company only financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions set out in Title 9, Book 2 of the Dutch Civil Code and the accounting standards issued by the Dutch Accounting Standards Board. The accounting policies applied in the company only financial statements are identical to those applied in the consolidated financial statements. Participations in group companies are stated at net asset value in accordance with section 2.6 of the notes to the consolidated financial statements. For the principles for the valuation of assets and liabilities and for the determination of the result reference is made to the notes to the consolidated balance sheet and profit and loss account.
