1.4. Consolidation The consolidated annual accounts in include the financial data of the company and its group companies, as well as other legal entities and companies over which it is able to exercise control or which are under its centralised management. The financial data of the group companies and other consolidated legal entities and companies are fully included in the consolidated annual accounts, after elimination of intercompany balances and transactions. Items included in the consolidated annual accounts are stated on the basis of uniform principles for the valuation of assets and liabilities and the determination of results, i.e. the accounting policies of the company. Since the company’s financial data are included in the consolidated annual accounts, the company annual accounts include only an abridged profit and loss account pursuant to Section 2:402 of the Dutch Civil Code.
